Enrique Iglesias (born May 8, 1975) is a Spanish singer. He started his musical career with the Mexican indie label Fonovisa, which helped turn him into one of the most popular singers in Latin America and the United States, selling more Spanish language albums than any other singers, during that period of time.

In the late 1990s, he signed a deal with Universal Music for an unprecedented $48,000,000, with Universal Music Latin Entertainment records, releasing his Spanish and English albums to the English speaking entertainment industry. Iglesias has sold over 60 million albums worldwide and has won a Grammy and Latin Grammy and has had several Billboard Hot 100 number 1 hits and holds the record for producing 20 number 1 Spanish language singles on the Billboard's Hot Latin Tracks.
