About Ersan Ilyasova Ersan İlyasova (born May 15, 1987 in Eskişehir, Turkey) is a Turkish professional basketball player currently on the roster of the NBA's Milwaukee Bucks. He is 6'10" (2.08 m) in height.İlyasova was selected by the Milwaukee Bucks in the second round (36th overall) of the 2005 NBA Draft and signed a two-year contract with them on August 23, 2005. İlyasova did not play in an NBA game during the 2005-06 season. He was instead assigned to the Bucks' affiliated D-League team, the Tulsa 66ers, where he played 46 games and averaged 12.5 points and 7.0 rebounds per game. When he made his NBA debut on November 1, 2006, Ilyasova played for the Bucks. He left the Bucks after the 2006-07 season to play in the Euroleague. In July 2009, he returned to the Bucks after signing a three-year $7 million contract.
