Frood Fouladvand is an Iranian monarchist who disappeared in Turkey near the Iranian border. It is alleged that he was abducted. He has called for the restoration of the Iranian Constitution of 1906. He founded and leads a banned political party known as the "Soldiers of the Kingdom Assembly of Iran (Anjoman-e Padeshahi-e Iran, or API)" that wants to restore the country's royal family, who were ousted during the 1979 Islamic Revolution.
