About Javad Zarincheh Javad Zarincheh (Persian: جواد زرینچه, born July 23, 1966 in Tehran) is a retired Iranian football player and now a coach. He played for the Iran national football team and was a participant at the 1998 FIFA World Cup.National Team Career Zarincheh was the best right wing back in the history of Iran's football. However, in his late career he was playing as a sweeper. There was a rumor that Mohammad Mayelikohan, Iran's head coach back in the time, didn't invite him to the national team, due to his hostility with Esteghlal's players. That's why Zarinche was never invited to the national team, when Mayelikohan was the head coach. After Mayelikohan was sacked, Bijan Zolfagharnasab invited him to the national team. In 1998 world cup, he played as the right wing for the Iranian national team and outplayed all his direct opponents. The first goal of Iran to USA was the result of his great cross. His cross was so good that anyone who was there instead of Estili could score, 1998 world cup competition was his last caps in the national team. However, he's been remained in the heart of Iranian football fans forever.
