About Mahesh Babu Ghattamaneni Mahesh Babu Chowdary (Telugu: ఘట్టమనేని మహేష్ బాబు) is an Indian actor. He was born on 9th of August 1974 in Chennai. His father is Krishna, and he is one of five siblings; an older brother Ramesh, two older sisters Padmavathi and Manjula and a younger sister Priyadarshini.He gave blockbusters like Okkadu and Pokiri. His other hit films include Raja Kumarudu, Murari and Athadu. His performance in the movie Nijam was critically acclaimed. He did his schooling at St Bede’s School in Chennai and obtained a degree in Commerce from Loyola College, Chennai. He is married to Namrata Shirodkar and has done adverts for Thums Up and Navaratna Oil.
