About Ram Charan Ram Charan (Telugu: రామ్ చరణ్), born on 27 March 1985 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, is a film actor. He is the son of actor Chiranjeevi and Surekha, grandson of Allu Ramalingaih and nephew of actors Nagendra Babu and Pawan Kalyan. He has two sisters, Sushmita (elder) and Srija (younger). His cousin Allu Arjun is also a Tollywood actor. He made his film debut with Chirutha.Ram Charan studied in Padmaseshasdri school, Chennai and he was brought up there.He knows horse riding well and the person who encouraged him to be involved in horse riding was Prabhu, a Tamil actor. Ram Charan Tej’s made his debut in Chiruta (2007); his performance garnered many awards like Filmfare Best Male Debut Award and Cine MAA Award for Best Male Debut. Magadheera (2009), was a tremendous success breaking most of the Tollywood box-office records and many south Indian movie industry box-office records.
