About Victor Civita
Victor Civita (1907 – 1990), a Brazilian publisher, businessman and philanthropist, was born in New York of Italian parents and immigrated to São Paulo, Brazil in the late 1940s. In 1950, he founded Editora Abril, one of the largest publishing groups in Latin America.
